While recently out on – site, one of our very own engineers discovered this deadly hazard of a damaged cable located within one of the distribution boards. As seen in the image below, this specific cable looks to have been tampered with in a temporary attempt to hinder the risks involved within a situation such as this.
However, such attempts only create both further higher hazards and risks for all parties involved. Damaged cables like this may present hazards such as electric shocks to those in contact and potential fires to the site, putting all involved at a high risk of danger.
This highlights the importance of our Guardian engineers and their work in minimizing existing hazards in sites we visit, to prevent this from happening again.
