During the game between Rotherham United & Birmingham City on Saturday 20th April, Guardian Electrical were once again proud to pass the torch over to a great hospice, in the Rotherham Hospice to sponsor the trainingwear for a one-off game which was worn by the first team players for all to see.
With this in mind, RUFC and their long-term kit suppliers, Puma Teamwear, collaborated to create another fantastic kit which marks the second time that Guardian have proudly handed over the spotlight to a local hospice, as you may remember us doing with Bluebell Wood in 2023.
Everybody here at Guardian love to support our local charities & hospices whenever possible and are over the moon to have helped make this another successful occasion for all involved.
Commercial Director of Rotherham United, Steve Coakley, went on to express his gratefulness and gratitude for Guardian;
“For us as a club, it has been particularly telling to see just how many of our commercial partners and sponsors have wanted to support the hospice through their involvement with us and this agreement with Puma Teamwear, which wouldn’t have been possible without the selflessness of the people over at Guardian Electrical Compliance, is just the latest example of that.”
It was further announced by Rotherham United & Rotherham Hospice that 100 of these limited-edition shirts would be on sale to fans at 2pm on Wednesday 24th April, and we were delighted to see that after just 10 minutes, it was a complete sell out raising over £3500 for the hospice in the process. In addition to this, a further 11 more player-worn shirts from the day have also been listed for sale for those supporters who may have missed out on the original sales.
