🥳It’s Friday’s Find time!
🕵🏻This weeks’ discovery comes from Guardians’ Fixed Inspector, Kirsten Yates, who identified the following find whilst carrying out a full site inspection and test. The pictured wires were found with exposed, live copper at the terminations of the miniature circuit breaker! 🤦🏻♂️
⚡Thankfully for Kirsten no harm was caused because of this, however this could have potentially resulted in an electric shock or arc flash to somebody working on the board who wasn’t aware of its presence.
📜Regulation 416.2.1 also states that; ‘Live parts shall be inside enclosures or behind barriers providing at least the degree of protection IPXXB or IP2X’.
