🔍How about this for a find! During a recent electrical equipment inspection and test, this damaged extension lead was found under a desk in a stainless-steel cradle, (whilst in use!) 🤦🏻♂️ exposing live parts!
❌Upon its identification, the lead was removed from service and handed to the duty holder who consequently disposed of the item, one of the many reasons why it is important to have your sites electrical equipment inspected and tested.
📜Regulation 416.2.1 states that; ‘live parts shall be inside enclosures or behind barriers providing at least the degree of protection IPXXB or IP2X’.
