Approximately two years ago, Guardian Electrical Compliance Ltd was awarded a five-year contract to provide fixed wire testing and inspection for 770 Tesco One Stop outlets.
This was followed later in 2019 with the winning of the fixed wire tender for the full Tesco Estate: circa 2,700 and 500 petrol filling stations; the latter to be tested on an annual basis, the former split over a five-year period.
Since then, a number of Guardian staff have taken on the difficult challenge of evolving the company’s service provision for Tesco. This has been far from straightforward; new roles have been created and particular reporting formats and reporting channels have been developed, all under the watchful eye of Tesco, with a very demanding set of KPIs.
However, with a technical team headed up by Bill Sutherland, Louis Carnall and Eddy Pegg, plus an outstanding performance from its field inspectors, Guardian has become the preferred supplier of electrical compliance services and the supermarket brand won’t move forward electrically without first consulting Guardian’s technical team.
Guardian’s exemplary performance has been underlined by a KPI score of >95%, which rarely happens in any major organisation, let alone one with such demanding standards as Tesco.
Congratulations to the whole Guardian team – this is something to be very proud of.
