Whilst undertaking fixed wire inspection & testing at a large manufacturing site, our Guardian Engineers revealed chaotic scenes in the roof space.
Issues included ➡️
⚠️ Contactors with no covers ⚠️
⚠️ Various light points unscrewed, leaving terminals exposed ⚠️
⚠️Cables running over floor space. Enclosures/covers missing ⚠️
⚠️Distribution boards installed in unsafe areas, restricting access ⚠️
⚠️Live conductors enclosed in ferrous metal enclosures, not all passing through the same hole as required by regulation⚠️

Fixed wire, inspection & testing is a legal requirement. Scenes such as this, left untested can, and do, prove fatal.
Luckily, all issues identified here have since had EDNs issues and rectification work can now begin. ✔️
