Once again, the generous team here at Guardian Electrical have gone above and beyond to raise money for the Children’s Hospital Charity. Proving ever popular, we have now held our third bake sale. Over the course of the day, the bake sale raised over £100, this means that our bake sales alone have raised around £550! Our Executive Director John Quick has commented on this superb event, “What a tremendous effort on the part of our staff and in some cases their partners. Children’s Hospital Charity is very close to the hearts of Guardian staff and now the treats provided are very close to their stomachs!” Selling sweet and savoury treats here at the Guardian office, motivates people to contribute towards an important cause; plus it gives staff the chance to discuss what a difference our donations will make. Many of our staff have children themselves, therefore know the worries faced when their precious ones have to undergo any treatment in hospital. Having extra funding for fun activities or equipment, means the process of a child staying in hospital is a much more positive experience. Guardian Electrical will continue to work alongside the Children’s Hospital Charity to help raise as much money as possible. Our long term relationship with this charity means we get to see the differences our contributions have made, such as the new wing being built at the Sheffield Children’s Hospital or new equipment bought to entertain young patients. We are more than confident that this will not be our last bake sale and we will be arranging different charity events throughout 2016. A big thank you to all staff at Guardian Electrical. Find out more about the Children’s Hospital Charity.
