After being postponed in 2020 due to the pandemic, the Run-For-All – ASDA Foundation 10k Run at York Racecourse finally went ahead and our Customer Account Developer, Peter even gained a personal best.
Not only did Peter complete the 10k race in an excellent time of 46 minutes and 1 second, he also came in 310th place with the Run-For-All event having around 2668 runners participating.
Peter’s chosen charity was Macmillan, an organisation that supports cancer patients across the UK. Over 98% of their income is from voluntary donations, without people like Peter raising money for them, they wouldn’t be able to provide the support they do and in 2019, this support was delivered to over 1.9 million people with a cancer diagnosis.
A grand total of £141.25 was raised for Macmillan by Peter for this event, a donation which Guardian can hopefully match as we will be taking part in the annual World’s Biggest Coffee Morning on 24th September 2021.

Well done to Peter and all other runners in this event!
