Appointment Generator – Key Accounts – Sheffield

Guardian are looking for a highly motivated and proven Appointments Generator. An office-based role to secure quality appointments with new blue-chip clients and develop long term relationships with associated businesses for the sales team to service.

This individual will effectively mine an existing database of quality cleansed data using the robust tools and structure already in place.

Continue delivering a nationwide, quality, cohesive, cost effective service, in order to satisfy a variety of clients within our blue-chip portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

Fundamental to this role is the requirement for appointment generation. Knowledge gained from this process will guarantee a holistic, well rounded approach to future customer development and management.

  • The main priority will be to generate, qualified appointments from our existing database, using a script developed/amended as required following in-depth training. In addition, appointment generation via existing ‘associated company’ data.
  • Manage own pipeline of leads and prospect potential clients to qualified appointments
  • Primarily, development of new business throughout the UK.
  • Database management, including accurate notes, diary management and categorisation of sales leads.
  • Provision of administrative support to the Sales team generally, in order that the department can continue to function efficiently and controlled growth can be progressively achieved.
  • Relationship & customer account development through a combination of your experience and initiative, combined with current Guardian testimonials and literature.
  • Closing of quotations as appropriate by partnering and supporting a member of the sales team.
  • Telephone demonstrations of our unique, interactive website, TraQit.

Experience/Knowledge Required

  • Proven outbound telesales experience
  • A warm conversational style of appointment generation
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal – Able to correctly profile a prospect through effective questioning
  • Strong customer relationship builder and credible influencer, capable of working with blue chip clients including BMW, Tesco, Jaguar Landrover, Nestle etc.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding targeted business results/KPI’s
  • Ability to overcome obstacles quickly via effective questioning and proactively resolve/handle objections.

Additional Information

Our Appointments Generator position is a full-time role. Salary is competitive in a range depending on expertise. Although our team do have targets and objectives to achieve, we offer a guaranteed salary that is not commission based.
