Business Development Manager – Scotland


Guardian Electrical Compliance Ltd is one of the UK’s leading providers of electrical safety services, specifically inspection and testing of fixed installations. This vibrant and progressive Company requires an BDM in Scotland.
The main purpose of this role is to work closely with the Guardian sales team to replicate the unique sales and marketing methodology in Scotland, which, historically has been the backbone of our success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work within the Sales team to deliver growth objectives in line with the company business plan
  • Drive and manage a portfolio of new and existing clients following existing successful processes, reporting as required via the CRM database
  • Build an excellent knowledge of our service delivery and value proposition through on-the-job training and Guardian marketing literature
  • Ability to cost and deliver business proposals, negotiating with clients as required
  • Sales pipeline management
  • Liaison with both operations and sales teams to ensure quality information sharing, in order to maintain and improve the quality of Guardian’s service delivery and customer service
  • Actively participate in team meetings to improve results and share best practice amongst the department
  • Regular monitoring of personal KPIs to ensure all stages within the sales cycle are maintained

Additional Job Details

Salary – £40,000 per annum paid monthly in arrears, dependent upon experience

Hours of Work – 08:30 – 16:30 Monday – Thursday, 07:30 – 15:30 on Friday

Holidays – 25 days annual leave plus statutory holidays
