Job Details

Guardian are recruiting keen and committed graduates from all disciplines to join our Operations Department in Sheffield. The role of Data Entry and Administration will in time allow the successful candidate(s) to learn the full scope of works undertaken within the Operations Department. Primarily, time will be spent within the reports section of the business, inputting and quality assessing data. As the role progresses, the candidate will spend time in each of the different areas learning the specifics of the task, interacting with those involved and undertaking the tasks required of the position.

Role Responsibilities

  • Required to input hand written reports into an electrical test reports access database.
  • Carry out quality assurance audits on completed reports issued to the office from field based engineers and update as required
  • Working with clients to maintain the accuracy of their records through our own bespoke reporting system TraQ-it
  • Liaising with and assisting the AutoCAD drawing department and Operations Department
  • General administration responsibilities, including photocopying, scanning, etc.

An opportunity for a Graduate to develop skills within various areas of the Operations Department to become a key member of a successful growing business.

  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Good level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Good organising ability

Skills & Experience

  • Good communication skills working in a team or using their own initiative
  • RSA Grade II or equivalent qualifications\data input experience essential
  • Good typing speed (40 wpm minimum)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications (experience with Microsoft Access would be an advantage)
