Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Operations Manager, the reports and drawing department team, and sales team to ensure that timescales for site activities are achieved.
  • Work within the Management team to deliver business objectives in line with the company business plan
  • To liaise with the field operations team to maintain and improve the quality of reports, best practice, systems and processes to achieve business targets.
  • As appropriate work with field based team members directly, ensuring any deficiencies in report quality are improved upon and produced in line with company objectives
  • Working with the Operations Manager to ensure that the operational teams are trained and equipped to undertake their roles effectively and efficiently and that compliance with statutory requirements in respect to the Electricity and Work Regulations 1989 and BS 7671 is maintained at all times.
  • Working within the Operations Management Team ensure compliance with current regulations and other business related legislation & best practice guidance
  • Working within the Operations Management Team to ensure that all non-conformances and corrective actions are instigated in all cases
  • Working within the Operations Management team hold necessary team meetings to get correct information flow to and from direct reports, i.e. future and on-going support & project activities, problems and opportunities, line issues, and company news.
  • Represent the company in customer meetings.
  • Manage and maintain the communication channels to team members and customers.
  • Monitor and act upon KPIs.
  • Working with the Operations Manager, Planning and IT Manager as appropriate in the organisation of work for field operatives, complete risk and method statements, inspector information and customer liaison.
  • Support the Operations Manager, Planning and IT Manager as appropriate in the deployment of new technology and data base role out to field engineers
  • Provide support to the Sales Department both on site and in the Office to ensure a consistency of approach, with respect to identification of electrical infrastructure, timescales and associated costing practice.

Experience/Knowledge Required

  • A good level of understanding of the legislative/compliance requirements of Guardian Electrical Compliance Ltd services
  • An excellent supervisor and leader of people including effective performance management
  • A professional committed team player
  • Customer orientated
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Electrical trade background
  • Experience using Work force Scheduling system & Microsoft Office
  • Appropriate I.T. and telephone skills

Salary Bracket:  Competitive with suitable company car
